Smartphones at School

Since January 2025, the use of smartphones during lessons has been prohibited by law. Each secondary school is required to define its own rules to implement this new obligation.

APEAL Student Award

The APEAL student prize has been in existence since around 2013. It has generally been awarded to students for their extracurricular activities, as academic results are rewarded by the school. The amount of the prize has always been relatively modest, around €50 per deserving student. The winners in recent years have been the student committee, the drama club students, a very deserving student who arrived from Ukraine, the first aid group, and some students from the Action Humanitaire NGO.

School canteens

For some time now, there have been concerns about the quality of meals and waiting times in the canteen.

APEAL has raised this issue on several occasions with the school management and representatives of the company Restopolis.

The company has made changes to its team and services, and it now appears that the quality of meals has improved. This improvement has also been confirmed by student representatives. We are very happy about this positive development!
